These tasty little morsels are addictive. Seriously addictive. They're also high in protein, so make a great snack to hold you over between meals. If your looking for a healthier option than pretzels to go with that occasional (wink wink) cocktail, crispy chickpeas are your answer!
What you need
2 (14.5 ounce) cans chickpeas
3 tablespoons Tessemae’s Southwest Ranch or Zesty Ranch Dressing
What to do
Heat your oven to 400. Drain and rinse the chickpeas. Spread on paper towels and pat them dry. Let stand about 15 minutes, so the towels really absorb all of the moisture.
Scoop the chickpeas onto a large rimmed baking sheet and toss with the Southwest Ranch. Roast until crisp and golden brown, about 40 minutes. Toss with coarse salt while hot and then let the chickpeas cool on the baking sheet. Store in an airtight container at room temp for up to 1 week.
