It's hard to get through the Holidays without eating at least one stuffed mushroom at a party. if you're gonna do it, why not make it awesome? By that, we mean you may as well add a LOT of bacon.
What you Need
24 cremini mushrooms
6 thick slices bacon, diced
8 ounces fresh turnip greens (you can also use mustard greens, kale, or chard)
1/3 cup walnuts, finely chopped
¼ cup Tessemae’s Classic Italian
What to do
Heat your oven to 375. Pop the stems out of the mushrooms and place the caps on a foil lined baking sheet.
Heat the bacon in a large skillet over medium. Cook until fat is rendered and bacon is crisp. Stir in the greens, in handfuls, until and stir until wilted. Stir in the walnuts.
Spoon the mixture into the mushroom caps and drizzle with the Italian. Bake until the mushrooms are tender 10 to 15 minutes. Serve hot from the oven.
