Melissa's newest book, Food Freedom Forever will debut on October 4th, 2016.

Check out Melissa's favorites and why she thinks you'll love them too:

1. Buffalo Sauce. I talk about this so much, my face should be on the bottle. One day, I discovered this "hot sauce" actually meets the technical requirements for a vinaigrette, and started using it as a salad dressing (in addition to a marinade and dipping sauce). I took a photo to document the occasion of the birth of "Stuff on Baby Kale Covered in Tessemae's Buffalo Sauce," a meal that's been on Groundhog Day-like rotation ever since. And we lived happily ever after, the end.

2. Honey Mustard. Not Whole30 compliant, but it's not called the Whole365, now, is it? As part of my Food Freedom, dressings with a little bit of sugar included as part of a healthy Whole30 meal are the perfect way to add a touch of sweetness without subjecting my cravings or energy levels to a stand-alone sugar-bomb. I use this as a marinade for grilled shrimp, mixed with mayo as a creamy burger-topper, as a stand-alone raw veggie dip, and in my patented deli turkey/red pepper/romaine roll-ups.

3. Organic Balsamic. You can never go wrong with a classic, and this Balsamic is perfection in a bottle. Think summer salads (arugula, melon, crispy prosciutto crumbles, pine nuts); autumn salads (baby kale, roasted butternut squash, grilled chicken, pecans); mixed with mayo for a creamy balsamic marinade for chicken; or drizzled over still-warm-from-the-oven roasted root vegetables.

4. Organic Ketchup. I used to go back to my usual "57" ketchup when my Whole30 was over, because I figured the added sugar was NBD. But as many discover (thanks to your fresh set of post-Whole30 taste buds), things you used to think were sweet and tasty now just taste cloying and fake. Discovering Tessemae's ketchup was a game-changer. Tangy, tart, and delicious with just a touch of sweetness, I'll never go back to corn syrup-ketchup ever again. (And it's Whole30 Approved - bonus!)
