IS THIS STUFF FROZEN?
Nope. We don’t use any preservatives and high quality, 100% cold-pressed olive oil solidifies in the fridge. It’s a perfectly natural process and even ensures that our products are made with the best quality ingredients. Place the bottle in a bowl of hot water for 5 minutes and shake to loosen. This won’t compromise integrity of product. Check this out!
DOES IT HAVE GMO’S?
No way. We never use genetically modified organisms in any of our products, and we are in the process of being certified by the Non GMO Project.
WHAT DO YOU USE INSTEAD OF REFINED SUGAR?
We use homemade date puree instead of refined sugars to naturally sweeten our products.
HOW LONG WILL YOUR PRODUCTS LAST?
Refrigerate for quality.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS KOSHER?
Yes, almost all of them are. EarthKosher® certifies our products pareve. The two products that are not certified kosher are Balsamic and Matty’s BBQ because our organic balsamic vinegar is not kosher.
SHOULD I KEEP IT IN THE FRIDGE?
Refrigerate for quality for up to 7 months.

WHAT ARE THESE “SPICES”?
We use the term “spices” to protect our secret recipes. Youngest Brother Matt works hard to come up with our unique recipes, and he’d become a pretty fired up ginger if someone were to replicate his recipes, so we keep them secret to keep his ginger power in check. It’s true that many companies use this term to hide bad ingredients like MSG, but we don’t. WHAT KIND OF OIL DO YOU USE?
We use cold-pressed olive oil. Cold-pressed is the best method because it ensures that the nutritional goodness of the olives is retained in the pressing process.
WHAT KIND OF SOY DO YOU USE?
We use the highest quality non-GMO, gluten-free, reduced sodium tamari.
WHAT KIND OF MUSTARD DO YOU USE?
To ensure the high standard of our products we use homemade mustard. Our mustard contains trace amounts of vinegar.
WHAT TYPES OF VINEGAR DO YOU USE?
We use organic balsamic vinegar, red wine vinegar (kosher), rice vinegar (kosher), and champagne vinegar (kosher).

As our products are perishable, all food sales are final. Tessemae's will be happy to replace any item(s) in the unlikely event that they might be damaged or spoiled during transit. To make sure that you are satisfied with the product you receive, please inspect the contents as soon as your order arrives. Tessemae’s is not responsible for damage or loss as a result of shipments being returned to the freight location or being undeliverable as a result of incorrect address information you supply to us, or for inability of a recipient to receive the package on the day you specify that it should be delivered. We wish we could assure proper handling and prompt receipt of packages once they have been delivered to the correct mailing address by the third party carrier (UPS, FedEx or USPS), but this, of course, is out of our control. To enjoy the full flavor and freshness of our products, we urge you to make the necessary arrangements beforehand. Shipping/handling charges are not refundable.
