What you need
24 pitted dried dates
24 whole almonds
8 bacon slices, cut into thirds
¼ cup Tessemae’s Honey Mustard
What to do
Heat your oven to 450. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Stuff each of the dates with an almond and then wrap each date with a bacon strip. Use a toothpick to secure the bacon. Arrange the dates on the baking sheet.
Bake until the bacon is beginning to brown and some of the fat has rendered out, about 10 minutes (depending on your oven, the bottom of the dates may brown first.) Take the pan out of the oven and turn over all of the dates. Brush the tops with the Honey Mustard and return to the oven. Continue to bake until browned and crisp, about 5 minutes more. Serve with more Honey Mustard on the side.
