We’re always on the go. This spring we’ll be stopping in major cities across the country, spreadin’ the Tesse-love. We’re keepin' it real on the road, and we want to share our favorite tips with you.
-Eat at restaurants as little as possible.
Plan ahead! Go grocery shopping. Stick to the perimeter of the store, where the healthy foods are found. Consider lodging at a “home away from home” so that you have a kitchen to cook in (Air b-n-b is our fave.). You'll save a ton of $ this way.
-Keep your stash stocked.
Don’t wait until you're starving. We keep snacks in our bags at all times. Fruits and vegetables: carrots, apples, kale chips, energy bars, etc. are portable, convenient, and don't require much prep. Raw nuts are a favorite "go-to on-the-go" because of their healthy fats (you know we love our healthy fats), protein, and fiber, which ar sure to keep you feeling strong and full.
(Tip: Mix a teaspoon of your favorite Tessemae's dressing with some nuts. We suggest: Lemon Chesapeake and Marcona almonds.)
-Drink water, drink water, drink: water.
Don’t forget to pack your water bottle, and keep it full. I know we're redundant about this, but it's super important. You want to feel your best, especially when traveling.
-If you’re forced to eat out, don’t fret. Most restaurants are willing to tweak the menu a bit to suit your needs. Just ask…nicely.
Last but not least, don't forget to move!
Walking, jogging, or riding a bike around a new city is the best way to explore and see what it's really all about.
And make sure you don't forget to share your Tesse-travels with us.
Now get out there, and get going!
