Grilled Chicken Sausage, Apple and Garlic Flatbreads
It may be fall, but it's perfect grilling weather around here! Try this fall twist on pizza with grapes, apples, and naan instead of raw dough. We made it dairy free, but you can add a little cheese too if you like.
What you need
4 chicken apple sausages
4 pieces Naan bread
½ cup Tessemaes’s Green Goddess
4 tablespoons Tessemae’s Slow Roasted Garlic
1 cup grapes, halved
½ red onion, thinly sliced
1 apple, cored and thinly sliced
4 ounces fontina cheese, shredded (optional)
What to do
Heat your grill to medium high. Grill the sausages until heated through. Transfer to a cutting board and slice.
Brush each piece of naan with a tablespoon of Green Goddess. Transfer to the grill and cook on one side, until browned underneath. Transfer each naan, grilled side up, back to the baking sheet.
Dividing evenly, spread the naan with the Slow Roasted Garlic an top with the sliced sausage, onion, and grapes. Use a spatula and tongs to transfer the pizzas back to the grill and cook, covered, until they are browned underneath.
Top with the sliced apple and drizzle each with a tablespoon more Green Goddess.
