Around here, we wrap EVERYTHING in prosciutto. (Dates, Peaches, Cheese!) But these figs are our current fav. Fresh figs have such a short season, we can't get enough of them! Try them at your next tailgate, cocktail party, or put 'em on a salad for dinner.
What you need
8 whole fresh figs
16 slices prosciutto
1 tablespoon Tessemae’s Honey Mustard
What to do
- Cut the figs in half lengthwise. Wrap each date slice in prosciutto.
- Arrange the figs on a platter and drizzle with the Honey Mustard.
- Tip: These are also great warm. Bake in a 375 oven, until just hot, 4-6 minutes. Do not over bake or the prosciutto will get tough.
