Sometimes, you just can't beat the classics! Our Pantry Classic Italian
is just that. It's got zing from red wine vinegar and a traditional Italian herb blend for amazing flavor. We love it as the dressing on this gluten free pasta salad!
Makes 8-10 servings
What you need:
1 pound short pasta, gluten free if desired
1 bottle Tessemae's Pantry Classic Italian Dressing
1/2 red onion, diced
1 pint grape tomatoes, halved or quartered
1 English cucumber, quartered lengthwise and sliced
3/4 cup green olives, halved
4 ounces sliced salami, cut into pieces
What to do:
- Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and transfer to a bowl.
- Add onion, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, salami, and half the bottle of Pantry Classic Italian.
- Mix well and season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until ready to serve, up to one day.
- Before serving, stir in more dressing, up to ½ bottle and adjust seasoning again with salt and pepper.
