Prep time: 25 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
1 cup Tessemae’s Classic Italian Salad Dressing
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. dijon mustard
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
¾ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
2 lbs. sirloin steak, cut into 1-1½’’ cubes
1 red bell pepper, cut into 1’’ pieces
1 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1’’ pieces
1 medium-large zucchini, cut into rounds
1 medium red onion, cut into 1’’ pieces
olive oil, for the vegetables
chopped fresh herbs for serving (such as chives, parsley, oregano, rosemary)
- In a bowl or zip-top plastic bag, whisk together the Tessemae’s Classic Italian Salad Dressing, garlic, red wine vinegar, soy sauce, dijon mustard, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until combined. Add the sirloin steak cubes and let marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours or up to overnight.
- Meanwhile, soak wooden skewers in water for at least 1 hour. Once ready to grill, toss the vegetables lightly with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Thread the beef, peppers, zucchini, and onion onto the soaked skewers.
- Preheat an indoor grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the skewers, and cook until deeply caramelized grill marks appear and steak is cooked through, about 4-6 minutes per side for medium. Let skewers rest for 5-10 minutes, then garnish with fresh herbs. Serve immediately.
