Prep time: 30 minutes
WHAT YOU NEED
6-8 ounces sharp cheddar, cubed or sliced
4-6 ounces pepper jack cheese, cubed or sliced
6 ounces syrah-soaked toscano cheese, or any firm, aged cheese like parmesan or asiago
4-6 ounces soft cheese of your choice (i.e. garlic-herb spreadable cheese, goat cheese, burrata)
¼ cup Tessemae’s Dijon Mustard
¼ cup Tessemae’s Classic Ranch Dressing
2-4 ounces cured meat of your choice, such as salami or prosciutto
1 cup assorted nuts, such as pistachios, marcona almonds, cashews, pecans
Sliced vegetables of your choice, such as bell peppers, carrots, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes
Fruit of your choice, such as grapes, figs, berries
Crackers, baguette, chips, etc. of your choice
WHAT YOU DO
Using a large plate, marble slab, or board, start off by placing the cheeses around the board, then add two ramekins or small bowls filled with Tessemae’s Dijon Mustard and Tessemae’s Classic Ranch on to the board. Add the cured meats, and then start filling in from there. Start by arranging the fruit and vegetables in piles, then fill in blank spaces with the smaller items, like nuts, crackers and bread to fill out the board.
Note: A good rule of thumb for cheese boards, is to include at least 2-4 ounces of cheese per person - offering a variety of hard, semi-soft, and soft cheeses is always a good idea too!
