Can’t beat the taste of a classic and it doesn’t get more classic than this Classic Bacon Cheeseburger recipe with our new Classic Ketchup.
Makes 4 servings
WHAT YOU NEED
1 1/4 pounds ground beef
coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 slices cheddar cheese
4 brioche buns
8 butter lettuce leaves
8 slices cooked bacon
1 tomato, sliced
1 sweet onion, thinly sliced
½ cup bread and butter pickle chips
½ cup Tessemae’s Classic Ketchup
WHAT YOU DO
- Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium high. Divide the beef into 4 equal pieces. Shape each piece into an even, flat patty. Keep them an even thickness from the center to the edge. Season all over with salt and pepper.
- Sear the patties until caramelized on both sides, about 3 minutes a side for medium. Place a slice of cheese on each burger. Turn off heat and cover pan with a lid to melt the cheese, about 1 minute.
- Meanwhile, toast buns under the broiler. Serve each burger topped with lettuce, bacon, tomato, onion, pickles, and plenty of Classic Ketchup.
